WELCOME.

HorthWorld is the sonic brainchild of singer-songwriter Andrew Horth, based in Melbourne, Derbyshire.

Pairing infectious melodies with lyrics that range from humorous to heartbreakingly candid, HorthWorld weaves a diverse range of influences into a distinctive Alternative Rock sound, blending elements of indie, pop, power pop, punk, shoegaze, synth, and folk. His songs are rooted in lived experience, challenging norms and probing emotional truths with disarming honesty.

Since making a bold entrance in August 2024 with debut single “Watercooler Girl”, co-produced by Kitten Pyramid and Nick Brine (Oasis, Stereophonics, Coldplay) Horth’s songwriting has earned praise across the board while continuing to collaborate with top-tier producers like Natt Webb (Alt Blk Era, The Struts) and Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Ocean Colour Scene, The Sherlocks, Robert Plant):

Nick Brine: “Teenage Fanclub vibes - I loved it. A great first ride at HorthWorld.”

Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing): “A great artist.”

Gavin Monaghan: “An interesting artist with a bank of songs worthy of a bright future.”

Natt Webb: “HorthWorld brings a flood of brilliant ideas to every session.”

What started in the solitude of the studio now erupts on stage with collective energy, raw feeling, and electric connection.

With a dynamic catalogue of songs and a talented full live band now in place, HorthWorld has entered a thrilling new era of performance that’s already earning acclaim for its intensity and emotional punch.

An upcoming hometown Christmas headline show signals the next leap in a live journey that’s captivating audiences.
