HorthWorld is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Andrew Horth, based in Melbourne, Derbyshire.

Pairing infectious melodies with lyrics that range from humorous to heartbreakingly candid, Horth weaves a diverse range of influences into a distinctive Alternative Rock sound, blending elements of indie, pop, power pop, punk, shoegaze, synth, and folk.

His songs are rooted in lived experience, challenging norms and probing emotional truths with disarming honesty.

Since launching HorthWorld in 2024, Horth has collaborated with top-tier producers including Natt Webb (Alt Blk Era, The Struts), Nick Brine (Oasis, Stereophonics, Coldplay) and Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Ocean Colour Scene, The Sherlocks, Robert Plant) to bring his long-hidden songwriting talents to life, earning praise across the board including numerous plays on BBC Introducing.

HorthWorld’s recordings are rich and carefully produced, but on stage the songs take on a rawer, more immediate energy. The full band brings a looseness and intensity that turns the live show into something its own.

The HorthWorld live shows go from strength to strength with a number of headline shows as well as playing at festivals including YNot.

Andrew is an advocate for men’s mental health, appearing on ITV news several times.

The Christmas song Merry Christmas (Make Amends) was used to raise awareness and funds related to men's mental health with Derbyshire Mind / Mind charities. It was even featured on ITV News and mentioned in Parliament!
